Today's internet is more dangerous than ever before. Wide spread attacks against websites is an every day occurence. Even worse, feeling secure in anonyity is no long a viable option. While being the focused target of an attacker is certainly a possiblity, more dangerous are the automated attacks that look for any weakness to exploit, regardless of how big or small you are. These attacks can be as benign as an embarassing defacement of your website to lost revenue from stolen usernames, inaccessible sites, and lost man hours to recovering content and functionality.
Layered Protection
Our website protection service starts with full scale, automated backups kept at our facility. It is useless to try to recover from backups that have themselves been compromised. We then implement 24/7 monitoring for changes to the structure of your site, notification on penetration and hacking attempts, plus active responses to those attempts (i.e. we don't just report the attempts; our system will block further attempts from the same attack). Finally, we periodically review your site for updates to any software that may be necessary and apply those updates.
Easier Recovery
Zero day exploits have become a fact of life in the modern Internet era. These are system and software problems found by attackers, but not yet known by the software creators themselves (yet). This means that even fully up-to-date systems and software can sometimes still get hacked. In the case a protected site does get hacked, we can have it back to an original, working state in a matter of minutes, not days. Even better, clients of our service won't even be charged for recovery.
